I've been wondering what that new Google TOS is about. Looks like we have no choice but to comply. hehe. Thanks for sharing the Privacy Policy layout.

I agree! I just think it's ironic that Google collects all sorts of info on us without telling us and they want us to be open with our viewers. I've only run their ads for the past two months so a $10 per month loss will not break my bank. With that said I love Google for all of the organic traffic that i get on my good sites. (none of which are listed below)

I used that in my blog (Jagannath) with a few changes like substituting 'website' with 'blog', 'we' with 'I', 'Newsletter' with 'Feed' etc rofl now I sound like a multibillion dollar corp website hehehe :D

and a big lol @ FHI
I'm sure you are violating a couple of TOS and policies over there lol j/k or seriously are you ? :D

Hopefully no TOS violations, I am new to this so if you see any let me know. Hopefully poking some fun at google is not a violation of their TOS's?

Thanks I've slapped up the Privacy Policy from tothepc.com, that seems really well done.

This is a nuisance, but I guess we all really should have had one in the first place.

Haha, I totally agree. I think the reason google is having us do this is because they want to clean up their privacy image. Although, they still have not said what we exactly have to write in our privacy policy yet. I am expecting to see lots of suspensions soon however.......

Yes they have. Read over at www.jensense.com they want you to state that third parties are using cookies, etc to help with the ad serving process.

    Everyone is very welcome!

The one I posted above is from tothepc.com with a few extra sentences and modifications I put in there myself to comply with the new google adsense policy everyone has or will be accepting very soon.

Is there a deadline as to when this needs to be added to each site? This is a major PITA for me!

More like they got sued by someone who hates Google and doesn't use their services, but had cookies forced in to their PC's without any knowledge or disclosure.

This is what I've done with blogspot.
Put the policy in a post. Backdate it so it becomes the oldest post.
Use a link widget to link to it on the main layout.
Put the link somewhere at or near the bottom of the page.
