Wow. Today, I was at school, and I was very very VERY board. So I decided to see how many 1s I could put before the .com on godaddy before I got an available domain. Try it. I couldn't finish. It goes higher than 11111111111111111111111111111.com. What to people do with these domains? geez

They probably hope people like you will give them type in traffic. :D LOL Just kidding. I honestly would'nt want to own that domain and am not even sure if it would get much traffic.. Who knows what the regsirant is thinking.

The only thing I can think of is they think someone pressed held down the 1 key too long and got to the site by accident. There may actually be something to this, 11111111111111111111 has decent search volume in google adwords. But the problem is I can't see how it could be turned into a website, who in the world is going to be able to remember how many 1's to type in???? Maybe if you owned all the varieties and they all redirected to the same site. Very odd indeed.

ha i just hadn't slept in a while.

i've actually been wanting to buy a really long domain, but having alot of words that said lame stuff like "OMG this is a LONG DOMAIN" sounded lame to me. and i always liked the way o0o looked.... kinda like bubbles :p so i think it made it more unique, and i believe 64 is the most characters that you can have in a domain right now. So it does make ita bit unique.

the only drawback really is that no one will type that, but most people go by links anymore anyways, and i think it would be easier to get a popular site using alot of letters like that since all the good short ones are taken really. Being super long like that will make it stand out :p i dunno really. it's just cool :p haha, lame though in logical sense i suppose, but logical sense has been wrong many times before.

I was kinda lucky that the o0o pattern ended correctly :p

lol yeah it must take a while to type out your URL. And if you make a mistake in the middle it could be a bit of a pain.

    nice idea though
