Obama with fade like George McGovern when it's time to address the issues. McGovern's platform also included an across-the-board, 37% reduction in defense spending over three years; and a "demogrant" program giving $1,000 to every citizen in America that was later changed to creating a $6,500 guaranteed minimum income for Americans [in 1972 dollars] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_McGovern

I admire people who blind themselves into an idealogic peaceful and 'high minded' world naively while they are blown in pieces by a small minded & ignorant... Go see the world outside, after the sunday's mass and 'the price is right'. There are stuff outside and it's not nice to see but we have to live with it....
Sure I heard that they are only 'kissing cousins' But the fact remains that Obama is in personal contact with Odinga and Odinga has signed an alliance with the National Muslim alliance that seeks to impose sharia law on Kenya.
I am serious. This is the United States Of America and real americans with backbone will not tolerate this affirmative action token boy as their president.
I wish people would stop referring to Obama as an "African American". Nothing could be further from the truth. He's half black, and is from Hawaii. I'm half Italian and from Kansas City. Does that make me an Italian American? NO... If I were an African American, I'd personally consider such a reference an insult. Ultimately, what really bothers me is that people are making this an issue. Why? What difference does it make? I'd be more concerned with the ideals he supports and practices and aligns himself with, eg., radical Islam. The color of his skin should not be an issue in either direction, positive or negative. To promote race as an issue is wrong... We should focus on their experience, and ideology, both of which have serious flaws.
Yeah. OK. *rolls eyes* Do you realize who the president is now? Do you honestly think that George W. Bush was anything close to as qualified to be president as Barack Obama is? Seriously? I mean... It's beyond belief that anyone could actually think that. Barack Obama didn't have his life handed to him on a silver platter by a rich well connected daddy. While Dubya was being handed C's in college because of his last name, Obama graduated from Harvard Law School magna cum laude. If anyone is an "affirmative action token boy" president it is George W. Bush. Affirmative action for the rich and well connected. Look into corporate welfare and you'll see it's he the only example. ...I get the feeling you wouldn't have been voting for Obama anyway. What I said stands. It's shocking to me the low level of discourse found in this thread. I've always thought that others who make their living working as internet marketers (like I do) would tend to be intelligent. More than the average person anyway. This thread makes me question that assumption. ADDED TO IGNORE LIST. I will not tolerate redneck racist BS. I just won't. You are not worthy of being read. Have a nice life.
Yes, Bush was more experienced. He ran an entire state. Obama is a first term senator. He was a state senator before that. Obama did not even know that al qaeda was trying to set up shop in Iraq. He is about as inept as a box of rocks. You are letting your emotions rule your thought. It's obvious you just do not like Bush. That's fine, but that's no reason to try to make an unfair comparison on experience. Put Bush's and Obama's Resume side by side, Obama has no experience at running anything...
Of course he knows that they are in Iraq. His point is that they were not in Iraq until we invaded and the country fell apart.
That is simply false. And for a country that "fell apart", you sure don't hear too much about doom and gloom out of the media anymore. Why? Because its working... Sometimes the real truth is hard to swallow.
You know that. Even Angelina Jolie is saying that it's working Bush was also a Fighter Pilot and commisioned officier.
As someone that has grown up around pilots, my dad, his dad, my father-in-law, and time willing myself... Flying an F102 is no easy task. I think the fact that Bush lacks great public speaking skills this is often mistaken for him being stupid. He's anything but stupid. Bush's biggest downfall has been that he is not mr popularity. He never makes popular decisions.. Had he, I think everyone would have a right to call him stupid. Ultimately the point here is, Obama has NO practical real world or political experience running an government. Not even at the local level AFAIK. Hell, was he even ever in the Jaycees?
Oh god, you're killing me. Is there even a record that Bush recorded any flight time, or like the rest of his military records, did such details simply "disappear"? You need to check out the international media. The war is front and center elsewhere, just not here.
Worth a read. Disingenuous Western Anti-Obama groups continue distorting Kenyan election issues! By, Mzee Mzalendo a Kenyan who currently lives in Dallas,TX.
hey, I think bush is guy you could have bbq with but maybe not guy who can run country. I think coke and whisky maybe got to his head
