    I check any submission to see how the site resolves in IE6, IE7 & FF. Does any else do this? If you do, have you found a streamlined way of doing it? I currently run 2 PCs, each having a different version of IE and both running FF.

    To be honest, I've never thought to do that. It is a good idea though.

    I think there are some programming tools sites on the net that will display a site in the various browsers. Can't think of one off-hand though.

    No I dont. Im more worried about the sites content than its design. If there was some drastic design fault in FF, its lilely to be the case for other browsers. I only check in FF.

    I find it the other way round. I get so many submissions from sites that have tables breaking out in IE6 but look good in FF. My theory? Most webmasters/submitters use FF as default and rarely check other browsers.

    I dont check but if you search in google you can find a standalone version of IE6 which lets you run IE6 and IE7 on same machine :)

    You might want to check out IE tab for Firefox:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

    With this you'll be able to run an IE browser instance within Firefox, then when you want to check the site in IE, you can just press the button to switch from FF to IE. Very handy.

    Yes, we check every site for cross browser compatability and a Javascript to create 6 panes with different browsers at the same time.

    Yes that one is nice as well, the one I showed you isn't what we have and is admittedly slow but it does show you lots and lots of browsers. :)
