After yesterday's PR update some of my sites with awesome quality back links only got a PR 0, while a site with only 52 crap ass back links got a PR 2. I just don't get it.
I don't think everything has settled yet, looks like it is still shifting. I wouldn't assume this is final.
Remember, amount of backlinks in theory doesn't mean anything, it's the "quality" of those backlinks. It's not uncommon for a site with 10,000 backlinks to have a lower PR than a site with only 1,000. As the old saying goes you want Quality and Quanity.
This was really an early weird PR update... My friends BLOGS loss their PR drastically... 3 of her BLOGS was PR4 but after the update all of them goes down to PR0... She didn't made some changes at all aside from updating it... As for my site BLOGS, no changes have occurred...
That's the funny thing. The site that got a PR 2 has really crappy links, while one that got a PR 0 has quality links.
Well the update just started, so will take about a week's time to settle. This is a really nice update for me.
PR update is still on-going. You got a PR2, that means that more backlinks coming from quality and related sites.
