Congrats to Amit, whats more surprising is that while doing the search this thread appears in the 3rd number
Amit: You should make it easier for people to submit, UK SEO's are busy people who don't have time for logins and such.
I have almost stopped the submissions from couple months and thats because low quality websites were being submitted. The registration option has now been removed for a while
try searching here : www.google.com/ncr If you search google in your own language results are different
ahhh, I see, thanks for that snippet of info as a senior member here said phpLynx had got this status as well but I can't see it?
To be honest Amit, I'm not overly concerned as I know how we got that, I just couldn't see it. That kind of ranking is not of any value to a business like ours but is to someone like you so great luck in your ventures.
Basically it does not help anyone JamieG, what concerns is how you handle your clients, run your business, feedback you review and not the sitelinks you got for your domain. SERPS are more important.
But if you have this layout of listing with a good serps for what your key terms are then it would definately help. Well IMHO anyway.
my site gets around 2,xx,xxx and around 2 million page views every month on www.gii.in and the terms in sitelinks never send in any traffic since they are not the search keywords nor does the site rank for them. [95% traffic source google]
That's irrelevant amit, the fact you now provide a well presented navigation offered to you FREE by the largest search engine on the planet surely counts for something? If you disagree why not ask them to change you back to a standard listing or change your site settings to avoide getting listed the way you are? I'm puzzled.
Come on, stop with this Authority sites.... I got site with authority status with !!! 8 extra links !!! And what? Site completely out of index, penalized and down ranked to 0. Like many other famous directories. So this is what're you crying so loud? When will you ever learn? I'm sorry but I can't stand all those "Oh! Ah! Congrats!" - D.
