Anyone using dot TK domains?

We everyone know dot TK is a free domain provider.
I have over 50 dot TK domains. typing.tk is one of them. I see that typing.com is for sale and appraised value is 15k - 1.5M $.

Do you think typing.tk will give me some natural "type in" traffic?

Anyone have experience of using the dok TK domains to get "type in" traffic?

If not then how dot TK demands so high price for some selected domains like tickets.tk or concerts.tk ?

I use to get one or two of the free ones, but it is too troublesome, I gave up after the adverts were getting excessive. IMHO I don't see much value in a dot tk domain as opposed to a dot com. Would rather have a longer dot com name.

dont you have to get 25 visitors each month or it becomes obsolete and they take it back of you? I do see some people utilizing the .tk well though and getting in the top 10 for certain keywords so it can be profitable if you know what your doing.

It's actually 25 visitors for last 90 days not each month.
It's a problem. No warning is given in advance.

The visitors part is ok just that the adverts seemed to be excessive. That is unless you purchase your dot.tk but with so many other extensions to go for, users may not want to take a dot tk.

I am sure that a good SEO could make positive use of a .tk name but in regards to type in traffic... I hardly think so. When was that last time you were looking for something and decided to type it in th browser followed by .com, now when was the last time you used .tk? I think I have only been on one .tk site ever, it was pretty good though, used to watch episodes of prison break and heroes.

Yes, one of the founders of Dot TK, Balder Alofs, passed away at his 30 one year ago. So unfortunate. The news is here http://www.dot.tk/en/balder.html.

Dot TK very recently announced a affiliate program named as "Dot TK Ambassador Program". I have already become a Deputy Ambassador.

Try "Dot TK Ambassador Program" here http://dottkdomain.blogspot.com/

BTW, I am seeking for stumbles for the above blog. Please help me. Check out this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=728492

Yeap agree, problem is not the domains but how it was marketed, they give free dot.tk on one hand which attracts a lot of undesirables and this really do not help the reputation of the paid dot tk. Maybe it is time they convert all to paid, that should improve their reputation and also profit margins.
