Receiving unfair rep for helping?

Today I help a member, well tried to help the re:http vs https on google. The member accused me of spamming and get me a red rep. Is there any thing that can be done about this? I'm not going to retaliate and give him a red rep as two wrongs don't make a right.

 

Rep happens. Don't worry about it. In the long term, if you're a good guy it will show up in your rep bar.
