Microsoft is mad to buy yahoo so that it can compete with google in the search engine and online advertising opportunity. Microsoft also needs yahoo since it can give google a stiff competition and reduce the popularity of the google as the internet icon. Microsoft and Google are the two leading giants who are dominanting the internet world.
