Organic seems to be the way to go. I really am starting to believe that this problem with clickbank may be adwords falsley advertising are products. I have been hearing a lot of rumors lately that people who are getting organic traffic have not flucuated in sales at all! I am probbably going to be taking a break from adwords and start doing this the old fashion way. I am going to keep one of my campaigns on that still generates atleast 1-2 sales a day (used to get (10 a day) However I am still making profit. If you are an organic affiliate marketer can you please tell us if your sales flucuating above normal?
Hi there, I'm afraid it's hurting us organic guys too. My usually best performing product averages 1 sale per 51 hops, but the last 4 days it's had 1300 hops and just 9 sales. It's never ever been that low before, I had 2 days straight without a single sale these past two days, and I've never had a single day previously where that product didn't make a sale. I just don't know what's going on!
How are you guys getting this organic growth? You need to actually go outside and pass out fliers, etc. in my opinion at this day and age. If people don't go on the internet or know about your site why would they buy your product? That's just my opinion.
Lol yeah it's sure hard not to. To be honest though, I'm finding it pretty motivating - I'm working harder than ever before now, and I'm just hoping that in a few weeks time it will all pay off. Either that or I'm just sitting here spinning my wheels lol. Do you know if anyone has pointed all these threads out to the guys at CB? It seems that it would be hard to ignore all this evidence.
WHC -Travis.... Organic traffic is traffic that comes from search engines etc. It's considered organic because it grows over time, and also it's free
Organic is just as bad... I get about 1000 hops a day, something would net me around 5-6 sales... and now nothing. Today is bad...
All organic traffic, and yes I have seen a drop off in sales but not to the degree some others have stated. today, for example 1514 hops 5 sales, that's about 20% less than forecast but I attribute that to people not being in the buying mood. Sale periods always fluctuate. whether it be by day or month. As far as the Adwords situation goes, isn't there always something up with the big G? Combine that with the odd cookie being blocked and a slow season and you get what we have now. That's why it's called a marketplace, there will be the odd shoplifter To our success!
i just think its about february it just seems like a terrible month, i guess im sure around mid march things should amp right back up, becuase now people have had enough with buying, You know, new years/ christmas/ valentines day, and all this recission talk once all this settles around mid march things should pick back up to speed. I would not panic right now. Becuase i know people who make 100-150 sales a day and there not suffering too much. I also think if your paranoid right shut everything off and take a nice one week off come back do a little research for a week and then around mid march jump right back in as if you never missed a beat. Remember i find that as your confidence sways so do your sales. Its wierd really but i think its the best bet right now if your struggling to just take a day or two off shut everything down comeback and do some research and hop right back in. March seems like a calm month for things to settle down and get back to normal.
My sales are fluctuating I got $200 in sales on sunday and today just $40 so I think its a waste the time trying to figure out why sales are bad.
100% free organic traffic rocks! Unfortunately with CB I am experiencing the same problems that everyone else it referring too. My conversions for other products though remain steady so ... hope that helps.
If you think that there is a problem with Adwords, then you can go for YSM. It's a great PPC program as well.
Something is wrong with processing US cards. In the past 7 sales, only one of them is US, which is very very very unusual.
The same with me. It's way beyond just a few bad days. Traffic and SE rankings are the same, but sales have tanked for several weeks now.
has anyone been in contact with the firm? is there any reason to believe this is a technical problem? if clickbank.com was verbal and subsequently demystifies what is going on, then maybe we may feel more confident in turning our ad campaigns back on 100%. with no comment from clickbank.com itself, one is left to think they may have decided rip-off affiliates if the firm is strapped for cash during thie economic slowdown.
