Haha.. no kidding. It's been a long time coming, but I will have to work on something like that. It'll probably go in my blog though.
Thanks man, I appreciate that. Speaking of which, I just released my free guide to help affiliate newbies (like I was) get started. Just check my signature link if you're interested.
Great guide scott this should help the newbies in affiliate marketing save some time. Just reading the guide should cut several days of new affiliate marketers some research and its free .... way to go.
Hi can I just check on the Split testing ... How would you do that? Do you do it by getting adwords to send evenly to 2 different ad copies? But is the ad copies rotated by a Php script in my server or is there some other ways>?
try squidoo , hubpages, article directory , link on high PR directories...not sure of the category you are competing
if you are using adwords, it will automatically rotate your ads and pick the best one, which it will be shown most often (control). Then you want to try to "beat" the control and do it again....test, test, test.
Why don't you use your advertiser's landing page or site to promote rather than working your ass out in creating a beautiful landing page of your own? I do it all the time and had more success in it compared to my landing pages. Just redirect your PPC traffic to the unique URL ID provided by your advertisers. They have a complete, legit looking and high converting landing page. They have done it again and again and no one can beat a landing page created by the advertiser itself.
Wow, how have I not seen this thread before. Have only read the first page and a bit, but this has some real quiality content. Am going to read a fair bit of it soon when I take a break in a bit. This looks like some refreshing quality content here, who are these guys that were positing back in early 2007.
People love bumping threads, which are like 1-2 years old, lol But as WebAttend said, looks like, here's some nice content.
Adwords needs testing. I`be burned some money on adwords some time ago, and realized that article marketing done the right way converts a lot more, but the whole process is a lot slower.
There is SO MUCH more ways to get a good ROI, without "Arbitrage". Guys, Google is set up so Google PROFITS and we pay. Do you think Arbitrage is "so easy"? Google will always earn more money from us paying for clicks and we will get LESS money from people clicking on our ads. Otherwise G wouldn't be in business anymore
That's why you outsource and let the work do by others. A single sale of any of my products pays for a lot of "services" where i am just too lazy to do them myself. However, yes, social bookmarking, blogs, articles: PROFIT!
