Hi, I recently bought the keystrokes4cash guide, I followed it's instructions carefully and did alot of trafficking research, signed up for PayDotCom and found the programs I could be an affiliate for (K4C recommended it). I paid for Targeted Opt-In e-mails, PPC Yahoo Ads, I blogged n pinged, I made a squidoo page, everything you can think of. I've spent $500 so far and not a thing, what am I doing wrong? That's $500 that I don't have.
Before you dive into the water, test it's depth or your chances of getting injured are extremely high.
Some products are easy to sell others are not. Try making blog with different products and see what makes sales then try marketing with paid per click
All the best info is given in forums and blogs. Well to be exact it is not just given there ... you have to research and suck it out from the garbage. Money making guides are mostly(not all) junk!! Never trust them 100%!
your first mistake was buying one of those guides/ebooks. there is so much free information available on the web just do a search and learn from forums. finally, just find something you enjoy and create an affiliate website for it and add Adsense and other products. if you really like the site and keep on building it income will start to come in on it's own.
Its ok...you were fooled..accept your mistake and move on...NEVER BUY any guides or books, when veterans are giving u free info here...thank god that..it only took you 500 dollars to realize your mistake....500 dollars and more will come back to you...don't give up
Completely true! It could have been worse, but take this as an experience. Granted, it is $500, but you learned from this. Keep on plugging away and make sure to do your research!
Agreed with everyone else. Don't give up, this business takes persistence! Cut your losses and learn from your mistakes. Rhetorical Question time: Think about what you may have done wrong to lose that $. Did you get any conversions? If so where did they come from and why did they convert? etc... It takes time, you will get there eventually. Hope This helps, Nick
PAY ATTENTION!! This game is all about making more than you lose...not about NOT losing! The fact is, everybody here that has ever had the gahl to make any real money has lost plenty first, but they have developed another word for failure...it's called "testing". Just learn to fail faster, so you can move on...keep your chin up. Here's the thing, all you need to make money is A) Something to sell, and B) Someone to sell it to, right? Not so easy is it...But I'm going to help you, and if you do your homework you will benefit more from this than any book will ever tell you. Go to your search engine of choice and start searching for anything and everything you like...(I do this all the time on multiple searches) Now go through all the top results and start reverse engineering what they do (including the sponsered listings) paying particular attention to how/where/when they monitize their sites, and how it integrates with the overall layout and content. Click their ads, see where they go, pay attention to the link and what media network is serving it. How is there site set up, what sort of content do they have, that sort of thing. Check the backwords links, sitemap, alexy, keycompete (if you have subscription) etc, etc. Basically take a real good look at what they DO...no what they SAY...follow the money. Do this a few dozen to a few hundred times and you will have a clear set of patterns in your mind about what actually works, how they are getting traffic, and how they are converting that traffic into cold hard cash. Learn how the thing works, THEN how to work it! Forget buying emails, and buying ads in such, all those do is put you in front of a LARGER audience, but the fact is if you can't make SOME money on your own that is NOT the solution. Now get going, you've got A LOT of work to do... P.S. Broaden your horizens from trying to sell ebooks from paydotcom, you'll just end up frustrated with that. How are other people monotizing their sites? How many people do you think are REALLY buying ebooks?
Maybe you have to work more with landing pages. And don't jump right away into paid marketing. Try marketing your products for free. Find a product that even your friends would be interested in. Email them and see how they react. You might get your first sale from them without even spending a dime on marketing. After you have made somee sales, you see which product converts best, then you might go with paid marketing to speed things up. Do some research on how SEM works. You have many offers and coupons that give you almost free credit. Recently I saw a thread about adtoll, they give $20 in free advertising just for signing up with them. MSN gives $75 [my sig], although it requires a $5 activation fee. And there are many other coupons you can use like Google $50, Looksmart $50, Bidvertiser $25, just search and you shall find them. And stay away from email marketing, most of the emails aren't even opted-in, and the rest might be paid to read emails. Even if they are opt-in, people will just ignore it.
normaly you should try every free promotion first to test the market and know which way is the best promoion way. try to spend your money as less as possible for maximum profit. Hope you can get back up soon.
DP got tons of info for free why would you pay for it lol and there is no such way to get rich right away everything works with time i wish it was so easy to start making money right away...
I just got the Key4strokes and i cannot understand what to do. i thought i was buying filling out ads can someone please help me they will not contact me back
What did you wind up spending $500 on? PPC? And how did you wind up letting it go that far? I'd probably wind up cutting my losses at $75 in the hole.
When you choose a produce, make some LPs some keywords and promote it on some PPC or Other methods and it doesn't work out. Then it means something wrong with your product choice , your LP design, your keywords , your promotional methods etc. Not all promotional methods work with all kinds of products. You need to spot out the right combination. Which affiliate program and which promotion method will work best. And then test it small ways before investing some serious money. Even I dont throw 500$ simply out without making sure of the stuff. I first spend some 20 -30$ on PPC and see the conversions. WHich keywords work and which dont, tweak landing pages, remove shit keywords and test again and again many times. Finally when i feel it is perfect and giving a 150 - 200% ROI. Then throw big money into it
