How do you guys keep a track of your blog reading and feeds? Do you use a desktop feed reader, if so which?

Either Bloglines or Google seems to be pretty good to me. Though, I did subscribe to a bunch by e-mails, but I think that's kinda getting out of hand!

Could someone explain to me why it's better to use a blog reader than actually just bookmarking the blog and reading it in your browser...

    I'm using Thunderbird.

Shadowplay: For me, it's faster this way because I don't need to load many blogs in Firefox like I used to do. If do need to go is because I want to comment on a post.

Also, the readers inform you when there are new posts. So you do not have to visit, say, 40 blogs if there are new posts on only 10.

    I'm using Feedreader..

generally a feed reader saves time. you can just run it and do something else if you want, and later you come back and finish your reading. Another great advantage is that you will be able to be the first to reply to a contest or limited offer from your favorite blogs :)
