Hey guys, my dad had saw on tv about some thirst pills. They are supposed to make you thirsty so you will drink more water which we all know is important to do. I was wondering if anyone knew the name as we dont rember what it was? Any type will do as long as it makes us thirsty to drink more!
No idea.. never heard of them either. I don't think we need pills for that though, when we're thirsty we feel it.
Well the body needs 96+ ounces per day ( atleast I do ) to fully function without holding back. But its hard to drink that much in the winter as you dont feel thirsty as you dont sweat as much.
Here's an idea. A bit simple, but should work. Instead of Thirst pills, take some Salt instead. You can even make into pill form if that's what you are after. Maybe I should patent that idea as Thirst Pill v 2.0.
Weird! Are you trying to lose weight with these pills? Because drinking too much water can hurt you too. Good luck though!
It's possible to drink too much water, but unless you are running a marathon or an infant, water intoxication is a very uncommon condition.
People need a pill to make them drink more water??? Never held of this issue before. I have heard of people who want to drink water but don't have access to clean water.
I do think you made a very good point.. after reading this topic I realized that I'm pretty much dehydrated. I only drink one cup of water a day (I don't drink soda or anything else) because I'm a little too lazy to go into the kitchen all the time. I think I really need to drink more water before it kills me :S
It is probably a dehydration pill. The reason the body becomes thirsty is because it is dehydrated. I don't know how it would achieve that feeling without actually trying to dehydrate the body.
I hear Venom Diet Pills makes you quite thirsty. Personally I never heard of a Pill just for making you drink water, but it isn´t a bad idea, I always just keep a Gallon jug by my side, I try to drink a half a gallon or more a day. Sometimes a whole gallon.
umm why not just drink some alcohol and the next day you will be really thirsty. why would you want to drink so much water anyway so your urine is clear? just drink gatorade if you want to hydrate yourself.
Great Idea! But seriously, that is probably the active ingredient in any "thirst" pill you'll buy. Or you could always smoke up and get cotton mouth, that will make ya thirsty. PEOPLE STOP TAKING PILLS.. I'v mabye taken 10 pills in the last 5 years and I feel great. Use your mind to fight illness and dissatisfaction, stop letting your doctors write prescription and stop supporting the pharm companies.... OK, I just had to say that!
