    1. If I register a domain now (its landrush till 26th march) and someone else does the same? what will happen? I've read that there'll be an auction but what about the registration fee incase I am not interested in the auction?

    2. Any other (cheaper) good registrar of .asia besides godaddy?

    It depends on the registrar you use, read the terms and conditions carefully. Some offer low prices, but it is not refundable. It is better to select a registar will a fully refundable fee, you either get a domain or all your money back.
