What are your favourite Joomla SEO additions?

As a soon to be Joomla user, i would like to know what SEO extensions/plugins/mods (what they may be called) that you currently use and prefer, for whatever part of joomla, do you like one more over another and did you find any certain ones working better or giving you any problems?

RSGallery 2 for images is pretty good.
I also like the CB Login Module, it saves alot of site space.
For adsense the click safe adsence modle is great.
JASubmit seems like it works well for user submissions.

 

Since last Sept 2007, I change SEO component from Atio JoomSEF to sh404SEF, and I'm very pleased with it

 

I switched a couple of my sites to Joomla and I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of any of the seo components or solutions.

In fact, on two of my sites I'm switching from Joomla to Wordpress because I feel I can get better performance out of the content with Wordpress and I don't need Joomla for the other stuff on my site where Joomla might appeal to other people.

It makes sense if you know you can get what you want from wordpress and dont need some of the extras of joomla, thanks shortbus.

 

Joomla is geared more for creating a dynamic community online. SEO may be the last thing in the mind of the developers. Nonetheless, there are many things that Joomla can do that Wordpress is found wanting.

 

That sounds about right, i guess SEO is not always at the front of a developers mind, what appeals to me about Joomla is it appears to have endless possibilities.

 

As far as joomla goes, the possibilities are endless. It is possible to get a high page rank with joomla. And as far as im concerned, as long as you are good on relative backlinks with high PR, you should be good overall. I myself have seen numerous joomla sites that rank very high with PR.

 

Good news, i plan on spending many years with Joomla.

i tried many sef compoments and i believe sh404SEF is the best

also sh404SEF has many plugins to work with other joomla compoments
