BTW, while you are shopping for plug-ins look for a nice theme. I forget which folder the themes go in but someone here will chime in with the correct answer. Someone really needs to create a short video for idiots (myself included) on how to do simple stuff like install wordpress. In hindsight I would of payed $20 instead of wasting hours.
Ok thanks everyone, but again.. this is what doesn't make sense.. I FTP'd a particular plugin into that folder and go back to my site and it is.. nowhere? What exactly do I do after I FTP it to it's designated folder?
There's no admin area. If you mean phpAdmin I went there and there was nothing close to 'plugins tab' there.
when you registered your wp you should have created a user profile as the "admin" with a password. post the link to your wp blog here so i can take a look at it.
Ohhhhh!! Nevermind! Sorry! I thought you meant login to your hosting account XD I figured it out now. I'm repping all of you gents.
make sure you post your blog once to you get it set up! Get a spam plug-in and don't forget to get "a key" for it (free) or it will not work.
I can't believe they charge 100 bucks to install wordpress! that's rediculous, I thought hosting services usually provided that for free?
Lol, I'm also sorry for not being clearly clear. Hehe. Thanks for the rep, you brought to life my second blob!
