How to get rid of crap ads

We have a LOT of crap ads showing, about "making extra money at home" type websites.

While i have filtered some, it seems that they are MANY of them. Also i think that some of them (all domains showing the same website) are scams.

Why Google allows such crap ? Can we do something about it ?

Change your content. I'm not saying that your content is crap but if I write about flowers, I get flower ads. If the focus of your site is high paying ads write about high paying keywords.

I have filtered around 100 urls but they keep coming. And i can't change content. It is a classifieds website.

Google should have done some work for us by not accepting such rubish websites.

if you filter so many sites then you will not get good revenue from adsense...so you better check before you add any more URL

You mean the Meta keywords ? Because i have no other control in dynamic application of classifieds.

Gretel, what do you expect Google to do if the content is about a bunch of different things? If his site was about flowers and he wanted to sell gold then by creating a gold page he might have some gold ads? I have a blog that is running lawn care ads and we have snow outside, so I'm not perfect either. Once I figure out how your reply has helped this thread I will let you know:D

    Ok, relax guys.

The website i'm talking about is a general classified ads in a non-english language. It has around 240 categories and some sub-categories but still no ads posted since it has not been publicly opened.

My ONLY problem during the tests with adsense is that i want to get rid of specific "work at home" or "make a thousand dollars easily" type of ads. Apparently they are triggered from our "Job" related categories but all ads are the same, junk and some of them a scam.

And they will keep on coming after you have blocked 200 ads :D .

The problem does not end by blocking them . You better optimize your content and replace your keywords with different keywords that pay well ;)

Do some experiment . Good luck :)

Thanks. The question (i posted also in the seo forum) is how do you optimize a dynamic classified ads system. I can't possibly edit each and every ad posted ...
