Copying "Privacy Policy" from other people websites violates TOS?

    Hi,

    I have created a two threads on how to write a privacy policy according to the new TOC, but havent got any relevant answers. Everyone tries to explain but no one has really written the Privacy Policy.

    I have plans to copy Privacy policy from other websites.

    But I have a question again, Does it violates TOS? :D:p:rolleyes::eek::

    My opinion:

    With millions of websites out there, I don't think anybody could still think of any new original idea for Privacy Policy. Invariably, you will end up "copying" some else's policy. Or even if you think of the policy yourself, it is a safe bet that some other website(s) has/have the same policy.

    It is bad though, to copy any site's privacy policy word-for-word. At least re-write it using your own writing style.

    Find one on the internet you like, print it out on paper, highlight the important stuff you want in your policy, then write your own with the highlighed keywords, then you are sure its original and you have only collected inspiration.
