I've recently got into the Showtime series DEXTER. In fact I got really into it. I watched the entirety of season one on Netflix's "Instant View" in 3 nights (that's 12 50+ minute episodes.) I then got my hands on season 2 (it's not out on DVD yet, so don't ask me how...) and watched all 12 episodes in 2 nights. 6 each night. Needless to say I quite enjoy this program. I find the character of Dexter fascinating most of all but I also love the complex story lines and how each season is sort of like a really long movie. I'm just curious if anyone else enjoys it as much as I do and is as curious as I am about what they are going to do in season 3? It's rare for me to like a TV show so much, in fact, I don't watch much TV at all as I find most it incredibly dull. So there's a television show created that's actually interesting. It seems these days that network TV doesn't even try anymore... Oh yes, I also bought the novel that the TV show is based on today and have read the first few chapters already. It's interesting how (so far) it's just like Season 1. I read that later on they diverge from the books... (there's 3 books now, I just got the first one.)
Dexter is one of my favourite shows; it really was nice to see something interesting like this. Thank heavens this didn't turn out to be another vanilla cop drama. I haven't read any of the books yet, but a few friends have recommended that I read it.
Dexter is my all time absolute favorite show EVER!! I created a thread about it a while back about my addiction to it. You should PM me how you got the watch the Season 2 episodes, LOL, Im serious. I need my fix!
xerostar - that's the thing, i usually hate cop shows and all of that CSI stuff. That's actually why I avoided watching it until just recently. A friend recommended it and it turned out he was right, I loved it. It's on a totally different level than that stuff. Much more heady. My speed
BitTorrent I think it was PirateBay. Took a few days to download though, huge files... I also had to get VLC media player (free) to play the files as they wouldnt play on Windows media. But the picture quality was excellent, almost perfect.
