I'll have to stop here. Talking with you is turning into a hopeless argument, you also have went way over track (from the Palestinian situation into American politics).

    Peace,

This is what Israel has gotten for withdrawing from Gaza:

The new today is as follows ---

Grad rocket fired from Gaza scores direct hit on Israeli home

Gaza-based militants stepped up their campaign against southern Israel on Thursday, firing a barrage of Qassam rockets and longer-range Grad rockets.

Ten Grads hit Ashkelon, some 10 km from the Gaza border, and one scored a direct hit on a home in the port town. Several people were wounded in the barrages, although the exact number was unclear.

Some 30 Qassam rockets also struck the Negev town of Sderot. Two people - a 70-year-old woman and a bodyguard of Public Security Minister Avi Dichter - sustained minor shrapnel wounds.

IDF: Hamas to have unlimited supply of rockets targeting Ashkelon by end of 2008

Hamas will likely be able to expand the range of its home-made rockets to 20 kilometers (12 miles) by the end of the year, an Israeli security official said Thursday.

Such an upgrade could give Hamas an unlimited supply of rockets for targeting the Israeli coastal city of Ashkelon, which encompasses a range of 10 to 17 kilometers (6 - 11 miles) from the Gaza Strip, and houses 110,000 residents, military analysts said.

Why do the Muslims fire missiles at Israel and then act surprised and morally outraged when the Israeli's attack the people who are firing missiles at them?

"It's OK for me to attack you, but it's not OK for you to attack me." Is that in the Qua'ran somewhere?

The terrorist rocket attacks have been going on steadily ever siince Israel withdrew from Gaza a couple of years ago. Israel has shown a lot of patience to the Gazans and has been rewarded with over 4000 missle attacks.

I would say that they are whiners. waaaa, (insert complaining about Israel here)

It's gone nowhere since page 2 but the DP P&R crazy gang keep bumping the f**ker.

I vote it most pointless thead of the P&R forum. It needs closing. How it has got nearly 1,000 replys is almost as astonishing as how Bush managed to "win" a 2nd term in office, but not quite. :p

I think that azizny explained it all when he said:
These people don't want peace -- they want to kill everyone who disagrees with them.

The 1st paragraph of the Hamas Charter calls for the destruction of Israel. It's kind of hard to negociate with someone that is sworn to destroy you or give them land so they can launch rockets at your cities.

That is why there will never be peace, i mean how can anyone make peace with someone who wants you dead?

Yet some seem to think that it is possible, they just want those dirty jews to embrace their loving enemy & if not then Israel is the problem:p

Maybe the Israeli's can come to some sort of compromise and agree to kill only half of themselves?

How about peace agreement with Egypt? Did they pledged to destroy Israel too? Why don't you mention that?

Hey Iggy, why don't you quote the Egyptian Constitution where it demands the destruction of any of their neighboring countries?

Now, if Hamas were to decide that it is OK with Allah for them to live in peace with non-believers -- then perhaps serious peace talks would begin.

Oh, wait, no. If Hamas decided to live in peace -- no peace talks would be necessary. Egypt would open their border to Hamas, Israel would open their border with Hamas; goods and services would transit between the nations freely, the economic status of all three countries would be enhanced, foreign aid would flow freely, and the people of the region would live in peace.

But no... someone isn't willing to live in peace...

Nah, Egypt never wanted to destroy Israel... Seriously, do you take from history only pieces that fits into your view of the world?
How about Arafat's PLO? Didn't they wanted to destroy Israel too and had that in their constitution? :)

I wasn't ready to live in peace while any part of my country was under occupation and I was fighting. Is that makes me bad person?
As long as Israel occupies single inch of someone's else land I will understand why they fighting against Israel. When Israel will be ready for peace they will be ready for return ALL land they stole.

Israel has pulled back from Gaza today. Hamas terrorists declared victory and some 20,000 supporters staged a large celebration in Gaza City.

Hamas is developing a pattern of attacking Israel and whining when the Israelis strike back. Most of Gaza supports the terrorism but it outraged that both the Egyptians and Israelis to not want open borders with Gaza.

If Palestine was not so close to Israel, I'd say, Nuke the bastards... Something tells me that would be the save all, end all solution to this stupidity.

That sad girl was clueless. First, she ignored the clear warnings to move from an area where heavy machinery was operating resulting in her death. Second, and more disgusting was how she was the one leading young Palestinians in hatred. Look at the picture. She is filled with hatred burning a flag, while the kids are just looking on in amusement. She is a symbol, but not for what you would hope. She stands for ignorant Americans whose hearts ignore what their brains should be telling them.

The Israelis are forced to clear the dwellings due to the fact that the Hamas terrorists use the structures to hide cross-border tunnels to smuggle arms ot snipe at the Israelis.

The bottom line is that Hamas is using civilian shields to fire an endless stream of rockets at Israel.

Hamas needs to stop its terrorism and the Gazans need to stop electing terrorists to represent them.
