The site was submitted to 30 social bookmark sites and to 100 directories (which are not even listed so I cannot verify anything).
Can you please explain why you charge $40 for something that can be bought for $10 in the Services section?

ADD: Just found out that the URL in the excel file is not even mine. I am not sure that it was my site submitted to these sites/directories..

KOK: You promised a continious, on-going, targeted service but instead offered some cheap arbitrage. Do you think we can't do this by ourselves?
I would seriously consider requesting my money back, at least for the remaining months.

You are now on the Page 50 of google just from these 30 social bookmarking and 100 submissions. You still have 2 months of SEO work to be done to your site, SEO doesn't happen in one day.

Stop hiding behind "Too much SEO is bad SEO" - 100 links is not too much for a site that has over 15k incoming links, we both know that.

It's not been a month, it's been a month and 10 days, and it would have been even more if I didn't ask you for my report since you don't care about these reports and only send them upon request and when people start to complain.

You promised to use about 10 different methods to promote the site, instead you've used only 2! Is this acceptable?

All we can do now is hope that you won't use something like a blog network to get the site to page 1 in a short time.. this would be too much, really.

Without solid foundation (100 links is not a solid foundation), even if the site ranks, it will be short-term, which is useless. 100x3 months = 300 links will not make it rank either.

Just look at this - you've put some links in your signature, as soon as the site is ranked you will remove them and it will sink back... this is what I wanted to avoid.

I don't know personally KingofKings and not fun of something cheap, yet just find this thread about his SEO services and saw his prices, they are not big at all, actually I smell some fishy cause of that. r3born, not sure I understand what bad he did even if it's true ? It's his own business. Making BMW car can cost $10k and they sell it for $30k+ in USA. So... your point is ? You are paying to get site ranked or money back. Anything other is business secret which business owner shouldn't even disclose.

KingofKings, unfortunately cheapest clients are most demanding, just live with it.

 

1. Who said you are getting 100 links a month? The first month is different from the second month, which different from the third month.

2. The sites in my signature are mine, not anybody elses.

3. Getting a Link from PR N/A, is different then getting a link PR1 or PR2. You think you can measure SEO by just the number of links? What about the quality of the links? Doesn't that count.

4. Let's be clear, you are saying that your website has 15,000 links? Your websites wasn't even in the top 1000 when you came to me.. Guess what the 100 links that you are making fun of, got you now in Top 500. Yes it still means nothing, but this is SEO.

5. If you think SEO is just about the numbers of links your soo wrong.

So let me do my Job and rank it, If I can't Rank it.. Then I will Refund.

Why are people so mad after 1 month? Wait until the time has been reached and then complain if it does not happen.

The way I figure it, if you pay $120 and it does not work, you can ask for your money back, or suck it up if it is a scam (and I am not saying it is) . $120 is not much to lose if you are paying for good SEO(SEM). If it is bad SEO, then as long as you are not penalised, who cares?

If you want better methods and more sleep at night, do not pay for this service. Pay upwards of $5000 to the people that are top of google for search engine marketing.

You usually get what you pay for, but then every now and then you get a surprise. I hope this is one, but if it is not, then in 2 months time, I will be one to be asking for a return in funds. Until then, I will sit and wait, and watch my rankings (rise or fall).

If this guy gets 20 links and yet gets me my keywords and they stay for more than 1 month, I will be happy. If he gets 3000 links and does not get me my keywords in the top ten, then his SEO is not effective.

All I am saying is wait before complaining. Then at the end of 3 months if you do not get what was described, then piss and moan all you want. If it works and you are afraid that it will only be short term, pay again for another 3 months for it to stay there. $240 for 3 months on top is great value in my opinion.

I for one will wait and see.

At what point will you be accepting new sites? My site is selling iPods, only 336 million results to compete with so $120 for first page sounds fair right.... ha.

No, my site is really targeting two keyphrases, one keyphrase returns 223,000 results, the other returns 196,000 results. Would you be willing to take on another job? If so how soon would you be ready to take it on?

Just to add a little bit to the discussion ...

I´m one of the earlier people (started Dec 17th). Before this I submitted myself my site to some hundreds of directories, and I purchased some more links on various methods, anyhow the page was only at around 500-600 when King started.

One month later it was around 80, and now - after 2 months and 1 week - the page is on page 2 of Google. So there is a real good chance to achieve the goal.

I admit that the stuff he is doing is not a secret at all, but I also have to say that with similar things I was not successful. So there are obviously differences how you do it and where.

Mid January I gave him a second site, which is not in the first 1.000 up to now. Currently I´m waiting for his report to see his opinion about this, as he he also giving some feedback.

Concerning the price there are simply 2 sides of the coin: It is true, that you may buy some things cheap. But my own experience there is not good, the results on various sites have been bad. So there are really some tricks. But if you go to one of these SEO professionals, you pay thousands and many do not give you any guarantee.

So in my opinion the deal is simple:
- if you are really worried to loose the money, spend your time in learning SEO yourself, because noone in this world will eliminate this possible risk, unless being very expensive
- Never give anyone too much money at the same time
- If you really come to first page of Google, there is NO reason to complain at all
- if not ... you got the work for nothing
