My liberal friends tell me that Israel is wrong when it accidentally hurts "innocent" people when it is fighting terrorists -- but that the Islamic jihadists are fully justified in targeting women and children in residential areas.

The situation in the state of Israel and Palestine is very tense. You can't blame one side and ignore the mistakes of the other.

The Zionist state (which I and thousands of Jews hate) has done many atrocities against the Palestinians for ages, many intentionally and others not.

Hamas never existed until recently ('87), because of the Israeli oppression, the Palestinians sought it as a way to fight back.

You can search Google for Israeli aggression and you will find hundreds of articles/news. From by-standers deaths, to innocent home demolition to un-fair torture practices.

Let's not forget the massacres that Sharon (and others) implicated against the Palestinians, the aftermath is something predictable.

It is up to the Jews in Israel to pick a better government and try to actually work toward a real peace between the two states.

Personally, I believe that this task is very hard as both sides want Jerusalem. Both have the right to, Palestinians have a better case since the Jews relationship to it is thousands of years ago (more like the American Indians trying to reclaim the US or the aboriginals trying to reclaim Australia), no one looks so far away to claim land.

Seems to me the majority of any action considered stupid, is likely owed as much credit to Democrats, if not more so than Republicans.

That's a little difficult, when the Islamofascists won't agree that Israel has a right to exist.

Which world have you been living in? Republicans screwed everything before Democrats even got into congress. Unless a Democrat is voted into the presidency, there will be a stalemate in most situations.

To make it more clear to you, I will give you a computer that is infested with all type of viruses/spyware/adware and expect you to fix without installing any other program. It is doable, but really hard.

Democrats have always have had, and still have better relationship with Jews and Muslims than republicans. They always seem to screw everything whenever they are in power.

I would first have to agree with how is a terrorist. Many terrorists are labeled terrorists and some are not, just because of political stance of a certain government.

If I don't give a reason for the terrorist to kill my children and they decide to do, I will then proudly fight them with all I got.

Senator Obama has no relationship what-so-ever with Muslims/Terrorists. As a a matter of fact, Senator Hillary has more experience interacting with them.

You are correct on the screw up part, Democrats do tend to screw things up when in power.

That is the last thing we need.. How do you think we got to this juncture? 9/11, debt, and foreclosures.. Clinton ushered in a philosophy of "living on borrowed time"... The Clintons hated the "greedy 80's" so much, they never once realized that what they mistaked for greed was actually hard work, and American ingenuity.

They rejected that individualist attitude and instead chose to take from those that did and give to those that did not, all the while telling those that did not, to take, take, take; never worry about paying back.

I remember telling people back in 92' that it would take at least 20 years to undo the damage this guy caused in Arkansas, and the same would be true for the nation as well if he made it into power. So far, I was right on both counts..

Huckabee fixed Clintons failings in Arkansas, and can likely do the same with the US as well. We've only just begun to understand the damage caused by the Clintons failed policies. We are seeing the result of many ever day however.
