Someone tried to make changes to my theme

I suspect some kind of hacking on my forum.

Someone tried to make changes on my theme and tried to add their links in the footer.

I was taking a look at the templates and i saw some changes by a different username.

On further checking i found he tried to make changes to the header template too.

I have removed the theme and put the default theme back.

Any suggestions on how can i protect my forum?

    Hello
i think you have shell script hidden between your files
ask your hosting provider to scan your files & you can do this tip maybe it'll help you
    - Creat a new uname & password for your forum DB , delete the old DB uname and don't forget to edit your config.php with your new DB uname
    - Encode config.php with zend
    - Be sure that only one user has the right perm. to accec your forum control panel
    - change all passwords
