Hey I just thought for all of you who didn't know this link building technique, you should give it a try. Squidoo pages get pretty good PageRank, and I think it has something to do with their internal linking structure. Anyhow, you can post comments or links on a lot of them. Check this out: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=link:http://www.vestrite.com+site:squidoo.com/ It's my link building on Squidoo. Just go browsing in their directories, and the best ones will be on top. Just read what the lens has to say, and add a link somewhere. If you are in SEO and Affiliate Marketing, this is your place: http://www.squidoo.com/topics/seo Hope it helps! Any opinions or inquiries on this link building technique?
I'm hearing real good things about Squidoo lately. I have not had all that much luck with them but I need to look further into this.
You won't get pass the "security" if your link is external domain. Some won't allow link at all some would but would only pass squidoo lens link. I think lensmaster should do that because once google find any web2.0 site being spam they won't consider squidoo link a good one. so bad news for lensmaster.
This is a good point. As a Squidoo lensmaster you have a number of tools available to stop people spamming your guestbooks and links plexos. It's good when you get people who add value to a lens with topic relevant comments and helpful links. However, those who just slap down links that are unrelated to the lens topic just give themselves a bad reputation. To avoid getting spammed you can ban lesmasters who post spam in your guestbooks and delete irrelevant entries. You can set up guestbooks and plexos so that any added comments/links are pending your approval or so that you are notified by email whenever something is added. Guestbooks can also be set to automatically strip HTML out of posts that are made.
