Firstly I would like to introduce something that I have never seen on Digital Point before, car advertising. If you like in a larger city you have seen car wraps or even mobile signs on the back of trucks. I own a classic Mustang and over the past few months have been paying more attention to people as I drive past them, most stare at the car, and even a few have swerved when they eventually went off the road, and noticed that a hell of a lot of people look at the car when I am passing them or when it is parked. I have advertised on my car's rear window before and noticed quite an interesting boost in traffic. This was advertising a car site but I imagine anything on this car would grab people's attention and make them go there. I would like to do this on a 3 month to yearly basis due to the nature of having to order the stickers, putting them on, and the continuing hassle of changing it. The first time, and the only time, I was getting 70$ a month for a 4 inch by 30 inch white sticker; so I am looking for around this range now. *Please note that this did NOT include the price of the sticker. Well, how is anyone supposed to believe it is really your Mustang? That could just be some random picture off the internet. If you place an ad for DigitalPoint on it and take some pics to post here it will show that you do indeed own the vehicle and you are prepared to place ads on it.
Actually, it's not for me specifically, more for general consumption - I don't think it would be any use to me. Good luck with it though.

Hi, How many miles a day is this car on the road? What area due you travel in? (Town City or State) Reason for these questions is if you live in LA or NYC lots people will see ad worth it. But if you live a town of 30K not that big of a deal. If you work in your car as a sells rep travel 5 state area better deal. Tell more where the car will be seen. Butterflies Forever Sami

Thats a nice car. I think I'm interested, but I don't know how much I can put into this because I don't know how much it will help my site. If I give you a sticker, (btw- any suggestions on where to get one?) and you put it on for 1 month so I can see what kind of results it gives? I'll still pay you, just not $70. I get my stickers for all my sites from http://carstickers.com/ . They are pretty reasonable, I think so at least, and their stickers come quickly and are done professionally. I can give you a review copy but I would still need $50, this is to cover some of the gas I spend while driving it. After that the price will go back up to $70 or higher depending on the demand. Yes people advertise on cars all the time, this is a new era of advertising and you will see it more and more as we progress through 2008. -Michael
I personally would go for the 4" x 24" sticker. I want a max height of 4" or then it just becomes tacky, and we don't want such a nice car looking tacky now do we. =) -Michael
lmao no never. But the thing is, is that I don't just want to slap www.mywebsite.com on there... I want to put a little description type thing under there so people know what its about all it would say is make your own ringtones, wallpapers, and videos and send them to your phone for free I could shorten it, to just Make your own ringtones and send them to your phone for free or something like that. I am going to try and help you out a little Ang3r_D4nger The fact is Car Advertisment works and it works well, when I was running my SEO Blog I had posted a long article about such advertising. I put a sticker/advertisment on the back of my 07 mustang and i got a huge increase of direct hits to my site. (typed in URL in the Adress box and not from search engine). so this really is a great advertising idea And i have personal exp with it. (provided Ang3r_D4nger takes the car out of the garage )
