Someone mentioned on this board, find a product on clickbank and market it on craigslist and other free ad sites. Is this allowed? What do you do, post your clickbank URL in the ad?
That kind of promotion is called "Free Classifieds". You can use paid classifieds like http://www.usfreeads.com/ as well. Of course it's allowed. Write some general information about the product you are promoting and put your affiliate link at the bottom(and the top) of your ad description. Use www.tinyurl.com to hide your clickbank link.
popnyc If you using free classifieds as your main promotion method you should post as many ads as possible. Craigslist is ok, but there are many other sites. Don't stop on Craiglist, post your ads on every classified site that you think is good.
Interesting, The more advertising you do, the more you will earn, nothing new here. As to Craigslist or USFreeads, they are great sources, especially if you know the techniques to get on top of the search engines, this is what earns the top incomes. Good luck to all, Mike
I tried to post my ad on usfreeads but it kept getting denied. How do you guys get around it. It says it doesnt accept sites that promote ebooks.
From USFreeAds: "We do not accept affiliate ads, ads for e-books, e-training, review sites, report sites, HealthyPetNet, Shure Pets or other similar ads in the pet categories"
Hi All I'm having a greeat time trying to figure out how people actually post something without Mr. CL blocking and not allowing them to post. I see ads all day with links pointing directly to affiliate sites. I've tried using tinyurl to cloak my clickbank ID (actually thought they're specifically blocking CB). HELP!!
As I'm going through the TONS of affiliate ads. There seems to be a few on HOW TO post on CL and make money. I hover above the pic in their ad and it's plain as day..affiliate link!!! I'm still baffled as to how they can do it and I can't....ARRRGGGH!!
I found it difficult enough that I didn't think Craigslist was worth it, but if you find an easy way to do it, then rock on!
