As per advertising search engine ads generally converts best for e-commerce sites. You could try buying reviews from related high traffic blogs. There are some sites which lets customer compare products from different sites (don't remember any name now). You can advertise there; its not too expensive.

You should advertise your site on online free classified websites like craigslist, backpage, kijiji, gumtree etc. Those sites give targeted traffic. I provide classified ad posting service. PM me if you are interested.
