I have a music discovery site made. It is one of a kind and the way of discovery has never been used before. There is also a part where celebrities are included. The site is fully coded and working and has caching so it wouldnt be so hard on your server. The only thing it needs is a front page on digg and some promotion to a few sites. I have the funds to do this, just not the time or ambition I had at the start. This could quite possibly be the next big thing. I would be willing to sell the site and script if I could get at least $500 (the coding cost me $700 alone). Do you think I would be able to get rid of it for $500 or more? If I cant I will just be holding on to it until I have too much money and just outsource everything.
Why not get a partner or pay someone to submit your site to link exchanges. Im sure someone would do 10 hours of link exchanging for $50. In 10 hours you could literally have a thousand links or so
When I came up with the idea and had my coder start on it I had the time and was excited to do it. Now with a girlfriend and all I dont have the time to baby the site to get it going.
Good advice in this thread. I would like to see a url of this because it sounds interesting. However, if it was really going to make millions. I would work out a operating agreement, or limited partnership with a traffic person. 2 cents
