Yes, but if you have time, why don't try others? Other sites have different audience/visitors so it's better to have alternatives..

Almost SB sites are now of nofollow...

I agree...but at least you have an option...

 

I think now-a-days social bookmarking works better than directory submission. I bookmark my pages on bookmarking sites but don't submit to the directories.

 

I totally agree with you. I submitted my site to more than 200 directories but only got a couple of backlinks...

Directories nowadays are useless..
