Accountant In South Australia

Hey guys,

I have just officially done the 'gone full-time IMer' thing and need to know who, and how to do the accountantcy thing. I am finding it difficult to find someone that deals with international business.

Since, I live in Australia, but do all of my transactions in US dollars it is all a bit confusing about the taxes etc.

Does anyone know of an accountant who does a good job of this stuff - in my area?

I was hoping for someone that was recommended. Not just a random pick from the yellow pages. And hoping that someone knew someone who knows a bit about international issues.

 

Have you approached any accountants yet? It might be best to look closer to the city itself if you are looking in suburbia..

I haven't started hiring someone yet - that is why I came here, to see if someone had a recommendation they could make. I have a couple of interviews set up for next week, but they are just from people picked at random from the yellow pages.

I live in Adelaide and I used to use DFK Gray Perry Chartered Accountants on South Tce in the city
Very good and reputable I would be surprised if they did not give a lot of good pointers.
Not the cheapest but very good.

I have made an appointment with a group on Dequettville Tce - so I'll see how that goes. They also provide a bookkeeping service too, which might be GREAT! I'll check those other guys out though if it doesn't work out. Thanks heaps for your help!
