yeah. we left of part 1 where my friend owed moeny to a guy and he wanted to smash up the bar. ok part 2 guy came into college to day guy who owed and the guys says "if you don't give me your money by friday ill get the police invoiced" can he dothis? I have chat logs..
He can call the cops all he wants they can't do anything about someone owing money. It is a civil matter. All the guy can due is sue the guy in civil court for what he is owed. As I told you before though if there is no contract between them then there is no case. A verbal agreement does not constitute a contract. If your friend lent the guy $500 and the guy said I will pay you back then there is no legal basis for a civil suit because there is no legal contract that has been signed and notarized. The only way the police can get involved in this is if a law is broken. So if your friend gets into it with this guy and they start throwing blows then the cops will get involved and it's a fight. Whoever started it gets the assault charge but the guy if found to be in self defense may still get a disorderly conduct charge.
It depends on the circumstances. It could be a civil matter, but it could also be theft or fraud. Go see citizens advice beureu first as it wont cost you anything, then if needed get a solicitor or the police involved.
That's a new part of the story. So your telling me your friend gave this guy money because the guy was supposed to buy him a new phone. This guy is what basically taking the money and running? Or your friend is the one who took the money to buy this guy a phone. I'm trying to follow the story but it is confusing me. The phone wasn't brought up before now so this is a new twist. Frankly at this point I think they should just duke it out. This doesn't seem like it is going anywhere good. No tearing up bars or anything like that just get them man to man and let them settle it that way.
whats that supost to mean? people from other countrys don't explain things well? and yes he brough the phone but not the rightone.
No he means you are making multiple simple spelling and grammar mistakes in every single post you make, that doesn't really make sense to the story but it doesn't really matter I suppose. I would say you should take things up with citizens advice too, don't you have a local office?
