I was thinking on hiring somebody to build backlinks by commenting on niche blogs

But is it worth it ?

    Regards

Commenting on blogs just for building links - not a good idea.
Some blogs moderate their comments and wud reject your comments - waste of time.
Trust me, I know, coz I have rejected so many comments on my blogs myself.

But, making quality comments on high traffic blogs can get you traffic. often long term too.

Take Zuberr suggestion. I have about 5 blogs. And I get spam posts to relevant posts. Even some relevant comments I reject because the link left has nothing to do with the comment or blog post. So be sure the comment matches your link and that both match the blog post. Not just any blog post on the blog.

Of course, every backlink that you can create towards your website helps, unless your backlink is ran across a network of splogs.

If you're going to hire someone to comment, make sure they're saying something useful and at least related to the article, or you're just going to be pouring out yet more comment spam, which no one needs.

As wasn pointed out earlier, commenting is just one facet of your link building strategy. And like any other marketing strategy, you need to have a tight mix of activities...

I have found it quite helpful in both building links and getting traffic to my site. I do make sure that any comment I leave has something to do with the topic of the post and I write a quality comment. I have gotten quite a bit traffic to my blog if it is a related niche blog that I wrote the comment on.

One thing that I do not do and I delete from my own blogs is write comments like "Nice information" , "You have a nice blog", "Thanks for sharing" , or other useless comments that make it look like you are just spamming. Reading what they have posted and commenting on the post will get you a good back link and not get you marked as a spammer.

Commenting in Blogs is excellent idea to have a backlinks to your site... but be smart, looking for Blogs that permit to click the URL of your site and make a comment with some sense about the blog or post topic.

Don't hope visitors from your comments, it's only for backlinks

Even commenting on non-related blogs comparing my own? Does that decrease the relevance of your own blog in PR?

I sometimes felt limited in the numbers of blogs I could comment on.

Ofcource it will help, but the comment should be content related.
And links are not following nofollow attribute.

Before you hire someone to do that, I have a few tips for you.

    • Try to find a high ranking page of their blog to post a comment on. (PR3+)
    • Search in the "View Source" for meta tags or links with the "nofollow" attribute...if it has a "nofollow", it won't increase your PR.
    • Sign Up to be notified of emails. The more you comment, the more "link juice" you get out of that page. Some webmasters comment their commenters...that's a good thing for you.
    • Look for blogs with "top commenters". If you are posted as a top commenter, your name as a backlink will appear on every page of their blog.
    • Make sure that the blog has less than 10 or 20 commenters. The less your comment is lost in the sea of comments, the better.
    • Don't be afraid to post on new pages of the blog site with no PR - it is still a worthy investment to comment a good blog post. Maybe others will think so and post a link to that blog.
That's all I got! Hope it helps. If you still want more tips, let me know through PM.

before you go for any paid services you should know first that you have known the effective of the services. so if you thinking about making blog comment you should do it on your own first and see whether it gives you any good effect. if it works then you can spend your money to save time.

Good post vestrite. To everybody else how much would you pay somebody to comment on blogs. I was thinking about hiring a friend of mine, but i want to give him a decent wage.

It's true that the majority of comments are moderated/removed. If you can quickly process 10 posts with quality comments, and only 1-3 of those remain, I'd say it's still pretty valuable.
