If the repair is much more expensive, get a new one.

I'm not sure how much the repair will be, they said a minimum of £350 ($700) but that includes a service that it was due anyway. Its definetely repairable, it won't be going in the bin.

Haha thanks for the laugh. If you're so worried about Iraq, why not stop posting on a webmaster forum and go campaign outside the White House? ;)

They cost more here than they do in USA with the exchange rate, a little less than $5000. In USA you can get the same watch for $4000.

The service alone runs $300-$450 in the US.

£235 here for the service, so roughly $470. Plus £115 for the glass which is obviously damaged. Thats a minimum, I'm hoping there is no other damage that will be discovered once they open it up. I'm more dissapointed in the time taken, they say at least 10 weeks. You'd think for that kind of price they could hurry up a little.

10 weeks is a long time. They must have a huge backlog or they are shipping the watches for repair somewhere else.

I don't use watches since I have a clock on my phone and computers, no need for one on your wrist.
