I´m not interested in a premade resource script because I want to make my own layouts but I don´t know which CMS would suit the site the best. I´ve been looking into Drupal, Joomla, Mambo, Xoops and some others too but I think it´s hard figuring out the pros and cons. It should be a system where I´m able to upload my layouts to and I would also like to have the option of user submissions (not necessarily registered users, but could be). I should be able to make gallery thumbnails of the different layouts and the users should be able to download the layouts (of course) I would very thankful for your suggestions and advice. Thanks!
Joomla every time for me, once figured out it is extremely easy to manipulate and there are some fantastic plug-ins, most of which are free. I am at the point where I will probably only use Joomla going forward. Nice templates around too.. Hope that helps Cap
I agree with captain. I use Joomla on 2 sites (one is in my signature: sketchfile.com) and have had a very positive experience. Check out their official site, joomla.org. They have a helpful forum and a long list of extensions with which you can build your site. Good Luck
