Thread bumping is when you make a meaningless post just to shift a particular thread to the top of the forum. It is often used by people trying to gain extra exposure for their sales threads.

No need to post in six foot high letters - I find it quite offensive on the eye!

Politics & Religion is also the wrong place to ask this question - you might get another infraction for that.

This is the Politics and Religion forum, I think you posted wrongly, best to get a Mod to move it somewhere else.

Relax, getting an infraction is common, just make sure you do not make the same mistake. I myself had two infractions. Do not need to try to get ban, just logoff and don't visit the forum again.

But my advise is logout, cool down and join us back again, the infraction have a time span and will be long gone before you know remember it.

    Cheers

I just had a look, hmm you could have edited your post just above the one that you received an infraction for.

I'd also like to know why you so eagerly want to get banned

Look, they don't ban on request. If you're fed up just sign out and don't come back until you've cooled down (if ever).

I can teach you a method, just logoff the forum and pretend that DP never existed. That is as good as being banned.
