For some reason I cant embed any video (From Veoh as example) in my 2.3 Wordpress.

I only see this on the website.

The site is using Kimili Flash Plugin. Could this be the reason? Also, do we need any special plugin to embed video on Wordpress? I'm under impression that even without any plugin we would still be able to embed video just by using code that were given by streaming provider like youtube and veoh.

    Anyone can advise?

    Cheers!

It doesn't look like you have all of the code for the player. It usually starts with "<script..".
Also , make sure that you are embedding on the "code" editor and not the regular post editor.

Lastly, I noticed that You Tube codes seem to break apart if you go back and edit the post, after you have placed the code for the player in it.

Thanks for the info hmansfield. Really appreciate it.

Actually, all of the posts were imported from XML file from different wordpress database and no changes has been made to the post. On the original source, the XML is working just fine but when it is imported on the new wordpress, I will only see text as per above image.

Any idea why this is happening? I do not make any editing on the post after all XML file has been imported succesfully. (No error during import process to the new wordpress)

    Cheers!

There are plug-ins that allow you to avoid this happening.

You can avoid this by disbaling the Visual editor i tihnk because that automatically edits code...
You can turn off visual editor by clicking Users then going onto Admin or your user and unticking the box for the visual editor.

That sums it up right there. You will need to replace the code for each of the videos..as I said, You tube code breaks apart when it is touched, unless you have one of the plug ins mentioned before hand.

I would go back and check your old posts to see of the spacing is correct, (especially paragraph breaks).

When I imported my blog last year, both of those things happened to my old posts.
