What do you mix your protein shakes with milk or water? If i mix mine with water i basically just feel sick. Do you all do cardio? or just weights?
#1 Skim Milk or Powdered Milk #2 No cardio for me at all, the most cardio I get is sex or running with my dog My workouts however are extreme and can be cardio in themselves.
Ok, what sort of lifts apart from squats are good to work the whole body and raise metabolism and build muscle?
Any time you build muscle you will 'raise' your metabolism according to many studies. I personally do not prefer entire body lifts, you might want to look into olympic style lifts if you're going for that. Dead lifts work a good chunk of your muscles hand in hand with squats though.
This page has a lot of video of different whole body workout. Watch very carefully to study the form. Work with an empty bar until you are familiar with the exercise. I mix mine with semi-skimmed milk. It really tastes disgusting mixed with water and I find it hard to drink it otherwise. What products do people here use?
I've recently got bored of weights so i'm now going to boost my cardio and run at least 1 mile for everyday this year or a goal of 500 miles by december 31st. Hope to do the London Marathon in 2010! .... Anyone have marathon experience?
I just find it hard to push myself for over half an hour doing weights, nothing motivates me, whereas with running i can just keep going and going
personally I train 4 times a week but I am certainly not going to become a body builder ! I just want to have a strong and fit body !
