So I signed up, picked a product that I thought might appeal to my viewers and got their banner and my affiliate link. Through some miracle I managed to figure out how to embed my link into the banner and to load the banner onto my site ... I did say was a noob here !

Here is the question ... how do I track the ad ? How do i track clicks ? All the clickbank account info seems prepared to tell me is how many sales I have made which is pretty weak info if I dont know how many clicks the banner is getting ???

Any advice on this or any other techniques that I could be incorporating would be appreciated.

Your Clickbank account > Reporting tab > Transactions

    Look for "TID"

Either that, or you make the banner re-direct to a link on your site

which then re-directs to the clickbank product with your affiliate link

that way you can just check your stats to see how many clicks you get

Your Clickbank account > Reporting tab > Analytics

You can get "fairly" accurate click data :D
