I really need some advise on this new domain name. Trademark?

I bought a domain name hpdesktopcomputers.com and I was wondering if I am violating any trademarks? I thought if I built a computer site and called it "Half Price Desktop Computers" or "High Price"? I am sure I can come up with something.

Also Can someone give me an appraisal on this name? I used estibot and their free tool says $12,000 which is why I bought the domain. But if it is going to cause me problems then I will not do anything with it.

Please help me out on this. Thanks.

Never trust estibot or other computer based appraisal tools. Most important thing is your domain violating trademark. Be aware.

Yeah I don't trust estibot that is why I am asking for your advise and thoughts. I am aware of the trademark issue and I need some advise on that too. if I build a site that has nothing to do with HP is that fine?

if you build a site that has nothing to do with "hp desktop computers" or similar products, without ads, maybe HP don't notice that.

Anyway it has no value and probably legal problems.

There are alot of pages with that term "hp desktop computers" in their url and they are selling hp desktop computers. I don't see why if the domain name itself has that phrase in it, it becomes a trademark issue? but if that phrase is only in the url, (mysite.com/hpdesktopcomputers.html) it's not an issue?

    What is the difference?

    obviously violating HP copyright
    that is a no-brainer. expect a C&D
Letter as soon as their copyright
lawyers find out about it. :-\

does'nt matter if your contention is
that you were planning to sell cow manure
    on that domain..don't kid yourself

you could sell it, and have the next guy worry 'bout that

    You could face TM issues

Companies like hp are real serious when it comes to their trademarks
