Is it ok to use the default Adsense colors? Blue links and stuff. Doesn't seem to work for me.

 

depending on your proxy themes.

If your theme got some blues, then its fine. PLus I think its fine either way
because proxy users only look for "search bar".. they dont care about site layout and may even get mad and leave for site taking too long to load... and they will click mostly anything with word "proxy" in ads

 

Blending with page link colors and content, and hiding borders is always better.

 

question.. i once used a proxy www kproxy com but it was blocked and so i put numbers in front of it like this 21321www kproxy com and it still worked but then it was picked up on and that was blocked. Two questions how do they do that, and are there any other proxies out there like that

yeah thats why I completely avoided the word "proxy" in the title.

and thats a sub domain.

 

Heck even my domain khis.info got blocked 1 day after by Bluecoat ;D

 

well some networks specified whihc domains in internet or intranet can be accessed
and if you try to acess other site, it will let you but it will send notice to network admin, thus easier for admin to pinpoint that 1 proxy

usually in VERY strict networks, its faster beacuse most people dont go, 1 person aceess that 1 site, it got noticed just like that

 

This can be easily done using a wildcard subdomain. Anything.domain.com (symbolically, *.domain.com) can be pointed to a server using a asterisk (*) host record NS entry.

 

While a "proxy" might instantly get blocked, I experienced that secure proxy (SSL) is hard to knock.
For people who are blocked by their admin, they can still access the site using just the IP and also https://

 

Yes, if that proxy is the only and primary domain for that IP.

 

Hmm, It seems that everyone is using Adbrite on proxifed pages...
Its not that good.

 

Adbrite is not good ? or isn't good we use adbrite ? do you know a better one ?

 

Something that just dawned on me.
What if the advertiser is blocked? They click on your ad and the advertisers landing page/site is blocked.


Lets take alook at pkr.com, you see them advertising on Adbrite and other places.

lol But I suppose that scenario could be applied to any website that has Ads being viewed at a place that is filtered.

 

well what would you suggest making a statement like that?

 

AdBrite is the best earner for proxified pages (after popups). I dont know why he states that...

you better put banners and advertise your other website and earn through those websites (as im doing the same)
how much are you earning from adbrite ?

i don't know a better alternative than adbrite, i signed up for Canep but i don't think i can use both , Adbrite and Canep on proxified pages ( two banners one from Adbrite and one from Canep ) or maybe i'm wrong , i didn't asked untill now
