I just gave one of my websites a make-over and I'd like to know what people think I know the header is messed up in 800x600, is that really a problem? I used to make sure everything worked in 800x600 but it limits designing a lot. link to live layout Does the design suit a resource site?
You need more line-height between the lines of "News & Updates: I added 6 new Myspace layouts, 3 Polka Dotted & 3 Striped layouts I'm also working on new clipart categories which will be online later on today Posted on: 23 February, 2007, view previous updates" Can't barely read the links on the top.
Personally I think it's allright except the black header. Try removing it and choose other color perhaps white slightly white etc.
What browser are you using? The line-height was messed up in IE so I set it to a negative number to fix it and it works fine in both FF in IE. Could the negative line-height be messing up other browsers? :S
Thanks for the reviews everyone I prefer simple and clean designs so I probably won't change that but I will work on adding color to the design I also just checked the design in multiple browsers and couldn't find a line-height problem.. if more people are experiencing this please let me know in which browser and which resolution so I can work on fixing it.
It is a good design if you're going for simple. But for a free resources site I say spice it up a little. Nice job though!
Thanks everyone Thanks for pointing out the spelling mistake. I'll try to see if I can add more color to the current design, if not I'll just redesign the whole thing
looks simple and cool but still i space width will be good i feel i browsing an image (that due to space between lines IMO )
Thanks for the reviews everyone I don't really know what space everybody's talking about. I tried it on a few computers and in different browsers. Is it the space between the welcome images and the news & updates area?
