I would say forget about BANS and use PHPbayPRO. BANS leaves a footprint a mile wide and just doesnt look that nice. with PHPbayPRO you can use it with whatever Wordpress template you like and easy to tweak and avoid the SERPs slap and use eBay results as your content without the penatly. For best results use an existing and established domain with PR. Read about it here
I've actually been using bayrss which is pretty much like phpbaypro and it works pretty nicely with wordpress. But liked the idea of a basic standalone store as well and read that BANS v3 wouldn't have footprint issues or ebay links that are as obvious so figured it was a good time to get it.
