Setting up my directory...HELP

    Hi forum,

    I am trying to set up phpld 3.3 and I am having some issues. How do I find my database server address?

    itll most likely be localhost

    if that doesnt work ask your host

    Sometimes it can be an IP? i think.

    Hopefully im not confusing that with something else. :eek:

    thinkso yea but I think ive only ever had to use anything other than localhost maybe twice..ever :)

    Or try creating a free database here : www.db4free.net :)

    Why not just go over to the phpld forum and ask the staff there? I see a lot of these posts for help here recently is the support failing over there or something?

    Put database server address as - localhost

    it will work with most of the servers.

    Dreamhost and Hostmysite both use addresses other than Localhost. Just a heads up incase you're with either of the mention hosts...they're both great by the way. Hostmysite is alittle expensive though

    I better not comment on where you can find a nice girl, my girl might be using a keylogger on my system. :eek: :D
