It must be hard to get banned

Adsense is a valuable tool for my business and i hate to see it abused.

Advertisers on adsense are what we need so there ads should not be abused.

2 times i have contacted google in regards to breach of TOS.

1st was someone encouraging facebook friends to click the ads on there site, i reported them and they still remain active.

2nd was showing pornographic content, and they also remain active.

If you get banned from adsense you msut really be doing something wrong.

Most people get found out for click fraud or being linked to a previous banned account.

I would think this is because those checks will be more automated.

    Not quiet true.

One of my sites was banned because of click bombing, up till now I am still investigating the issue with the Adsense team.

    Peace,

How about protecting some of the Publishers as well?
Do you think it's fair to be paid $0.01 per click?

Because of bad landing pages, some of the Publishers got SmartPriced.
Enough with protecting Advertisers. Think about the Publishers too.

Maybe adsense is still investigating the situation?

other people can get you bombed by maliciously creating clicks - google don't mess around they ban you when this happens, then they investigate later. Sometimes it can be hard to prove you are not involved!

    I'm beginning to think that it's like a lottery ! I sincerely HOPE i won't win
Geeeeeeee, no wonder i waited so long before jumping into this. I wonder if i made a good move !
Kinda normal to be paranoid don't you think ?
Just by reading all the threads about "Is this ok" "Is this against the TOS" "Will i get banned" "I got banned for nothing" etc..etc..etc..

How long ago did you contact them? It can take adsense 30 days to act upon a DMCA notice, so maybe its the same for adsense violations?

Google must investigate what you report,so maybe google think the website is okay to place google adsense,or they have warnned the website' owner via email.

it's hard to be banned if you play by rules. but when you try to get more clicks by trying grey or blackhat, it would come to the end faster. just play safe would be the good way to go.

i'm not sure whether its hard to get banned or its so easy. the way people post here about being banned, i get a feeling google has a mission to ban certain number of accounts per day

I got banned when I first used adsense. I was clicking on my own site to check out some of the ads but I presumed that Google new my IP and my clicks did not count. I explained my stupid mistake and after 3 weeks Google lifted the ban.

If you're making Google money, chances are they won't ban you.
And by the way, Karma will get you for reporting people for dumb crap like "adult" content. Learn to compete, or go get a different job. Honestly.

oh simple logic, if you manage to get big in time before spotted you'll probably get in that 'privileged' group where bans are not that common event... My logic play fair, lay low :)

errr if you're playing fair, why would you have to lay low?

I'm more of a "hit it fast and hard" type.

Don't like to brag and stuff ;) I actually like to pass unnoticed :) and TOS are open for interpretations, and freq changes, so for EX about that images near ads, I heard too late but fortunately some1 was late on the ban trigger ;)
