Well I'm not sure what an atheist nation is. The U.S has no official religion last timed I checked.

Oh well, I gave it a shot, and pointed you in a couple of directions, if you were truly interested. One more try, then I'll just wish you all the best.

Here - wiki's good enough for now:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communism#_note-0

The USSR was a totalitarian system. Again, wiki's decent:

You cannot be stateless and statist at one and the same time. You cannot be classless and have a state-enforced system of class, with a glaring line between the haves and the have nots - most egregiously, state apparatchiki and the mass of people, in the USSR. You cannot have common ownership and centralized state ownership at the same time.

The USSR wasn't communist. It was, in my read, the extension of Tsarism under another name, with all the coordinating state tools available to modern corporatist polities that were birthed in the interwar period (such as also existed in fascist Germany, Japan, Spain, Italy).

    Your are right!

But if you read the op you can see that it is for anyone curios about if GOD exists and who HE is.
But athiest have destroyed my thread that's the point I'm making we can't seem to co-exist online in peace.

I see plenty of GOD bashing threads that I go right by because I know how to mind my own business, but unbelievers seem to jump off those threads and come to a religious thread and unsult.

If you are and athiest and owned a webmaster forum would you put a religion forum in it, of course not that would be upserd.

So this section should not be for athiest to have fun unsulting others.

It should be for them to mind there own business so if you don't want to say the prayer post elsewhere.

    That's it.

I love it. Each time someone proves you wrong you completely ignore it and then go in to some whiny fit about how we wreck your thread. Grow up.

The first line of your thread says:

"If you don't believe in God...."

Those who don't believe in God are atheists. Therefore, it probably seemed to many folks that you were actually interested in at least the participation of atheists.

As to "destroying your thread," it does feel to me that you are fairly easily freaked by opinions that don't square with your reality - with me, for instance, although I didn't judge you, and allowed you your thoughts, you leapt to a host of conclusions that just weren't on the page.

I wouldn't call a public forum in the politics and religion section perhaps the best choice. It's a section that generally encourages people of differing opinions discussing those opinions.

You have not proved anything, you should not use google and wikipedia for a form of proof use real history not definitions.

Which is why I referred you to France of the mid to late 19th Century - real history. And why I provided facts of the real history of the USSR, how and why it was a totalitarian state, and why a totalitarian state couldn't be considered a communist state. If you find these facts, and the call to look at the "real history" disturbing, afraid none here can help with that.

This is the second time you've said this to me.

I haven't called you any names.

This is what you said to me, in response to my first post:

I replied that I called you nothing.

I also haven't said you were whinning [sic]. I said that it does seem to me that you are fairly easily freaked by opinions differing from your own, and indicated why. Although now I think you're whining.

At any rate, Chris, all the best. I would suggest that if you don't actually want participation, and if you still want to post in the P&R section, you indicate up front you don't want input - e.g., "please, no comments. Just try my prayer," or something like that. You would likely still get comments, but at least you will have indicated your intention.

    1. If you want to keep people from posting, start your own forum. As for this forum, you certainly don't get to decide who should post on what thread here.

    2. This is not meant as an insult, just letting you know:

unsulting is not a word, I think you mean insulting.
upserd is not a word, I think you mean absurd.
athiest is not a word, I think you mean atheist.
Curios is not the same as curious.
The words there, their, and they're all have different meanings.

I am sorry, but you don't speak for God. People like you should simple say, "I believe GOD loves all of you."

It is presumptuous for you to speak on behalf of God. In fact, I find it blasphemous.

It's indicative of an over inflated ego and a sense of self-importance, Something that is very much common place with the theists.

I don't much have a problem with deists - People who say there was an initial cause and it might have been god. I believe they are wrong, but they don't have the ego of the theists. it's when people claim to be sure that not only there is a god, But that they are also sure they know what he wants them to eat, Who he wants them to hate, How they should mutilate their childs genitals, Who they should sleep with and how and, Like was demonstrated here, Who he loves.

You can't possibly know these things.

the attitude of the theist is one of almost psychotic sycophancy. It's servile and infantile and this point needs to be explained to the theist. Nobody respects a servile sycophant, They pity their cringe worthy attempt to sally favour with a mythical entity. Their toes curl every time they hear them fawn over this celestial father figure. A father figure while loving everybody is prepared to send them to hell for eternity for the heinous crime of not believing in him.

and what is your reward for a lifetime if fawning and servile sycophancy? It's an eternity of fawning and servile sycophancy! No thanks....

Just like you don´t like people trying to force their belief on you, many don´t like you trying to force your disbelief on them. Is this your thread?
