It's a tough one due to most of the revenue is from banner sales which require a sales staff. A good salesman is worth 100k or more + bonuses.
I think that this site value is the forum, not how much it makes monthly. I think it's worth the 500k.
I see many people stating the price is cheap but I don't see them justifying their opinions with any facts. In the real world 500k is a lot of money and people investing that kind of capital generally want some reassurances that their money is being well invested. If you tell me: - v7n is a great forum and the right person could maybe breath life into it - The information contained in that forum is worth a lot - The web would loose out if v7n closed down I agree and think that has a price. But since money is money and what we are all interested in is the financial gain I have to say that that price is not 500k. Even if the site was earning 30K per month I would think twice about buying a forum. The market is already to saturated and the number of things that could go wrong are endless.
The anticipated revenue is 10k a month and I'm really thinking you will need 20k to break even. That's to pay the staff and for the bandwidth etc Was it mentioned of the hardware is included and if so the details of the hardware?
I don't think hardware is included but then again I could be wrong. From what I gather they have more sites and the v7n network of sites is just a part of their business. I'm no professional but I think the hardware should be that expensive.
I don't get why a site making this much would want to sell it, I mean pay someone else to handle it, you won't have to do anything and you still make a lot of money.
500K is not little amount, it takes time to decide to spend that kind of money. Even if you are buying something good, or making a big investment. If I had that money on the side, surely I will think about it.
I think a good reason is that fact that earnings are dropping No one making 40k on a site neglects to take care of it. It's just to much money.
