Yes. You can push your domain free to other account. If you've got name.com account logged in and after click which you want to push your domain. You will see Account Transfer link on right side click this link. Write there username of owner of domain and click Submit. That's all.

They are ICANN certified, have the lowest price, and offer free private whois.
    Seems pretty good.

I'm wondering if enough other webmasters use them-so I can re-sell the domains-or is Godaddy still worth the extra $1/year?

I think name.com is better than godaddy. Godaddy has got slow and complex interface. I registered many domain with many registrars. I think name.com, namecheap.com and moniker.com has got fast and useful interface. Also namecheap.com and name.com provides free whois guard. But most important for me is security. I don't trust Godaddy. Visit this site for critics about Godaddy: http://www.nodaddy.com/

So far name.com looks really good.
They don't make it easy to find renewal prices.
Do you know renewal prices for their .com's?

Thanks again (green rep added too) :)

With the lowest (1st year) price, ICANN cert, free privacy, and free pushes, Name.com looks pretty good.

I don't know about your bad experince, but i love godaddy as have more than 1000's name with them.

i really lov ethere service very fast and professional, the customer support is awesome.

i just opened name.com account 2 days ago to got the domain name as one of dp member was trasfering ,
he give me his account control and i changed everythings, then i got massage from name.com as everything is done and domain name is on your name.

and that time because of misundertanding beetween us this guys call name.com and ask to got account access back, so after 2 days name.com give him everything back without noticeing me.

so i sucks here atleast name.com have to call me or give me notice by email like we are taking this account control back because of this reason.

compare to that if this happen with godaddy i got replay call or email like something is wrong in your account, without asking me they can't touch my account.
    plus godaddy give 24/7 hour support {480-505-8877}

name.com support 720-249-2374 , call both of them first ask a few basic question , and u can figure it out who is batter.

i have no intense to tell who is good and bad , but this is my real experience.

petvideotube I hope you read a little nodaady.com. They became tricker. It's my opinion and share my opinion with other people. Otherwise I'm not employer of name.com. I shared my experiences. Other thing I'm not telling only about name.com. You can use namecehap.com or moniker.com. I loved them. Their interaces are simple and faster than godaddy always.
