Is adwords simply the best?

in your opinion is adwords simply the best advertising method on the web for getting quality traffic to your website? If not what do you think is the best bang for your buck?

 

The best is the one that is making you money. Adwords is very popular and owned by Google, that's why there is so many discussions about it...

 

Absolutely not! Adwords is the best advertising method on the planet.

 

I wouldn't focus on traffic as much as ROI. I think Google is the best PPC program for sales and ROI.

 

Another vote from me for that. As for traffic, it's too expensive

Adword is very effective in term of the traffic it sends you.

Google is a good starting point and I've found I've produced my best returns there. But maybe that's just because everytime I put up a campaign on YSM or MSN they slap it down and won't approve my keywords even though they are OK with Google (and we all know how fussy they can be).

I've had some success with some of the 2nd tier search engines like Looksmart and Ask.com.

I agree with an earlier post, there is no search engine that is "best" - its what gives you the best ROI.

 

Google is the most effective, but I am sure many other effective marketing venues exist
