Like Evolution, Gravity is just a theory - You know, a guess, a hunch, It's speculation. And as such it should receive the same amount of disdain as evolution receives from creationists.

If you are a creationist and agree that evolution is just a theory and want it taught as such you must also agree that gravity is just a theory and by an extension of your logic must agree that gravity shouldn't be taught as fact or law in a science class. it's dishonest to tell children that things fall towards the earth, Right? After all, It's "just a theory".

Well, You ignorant creationists are in luck. Someone has prepared some rhetoric for you to parrot when confronting those neo-Newtonian gravitists in the form of the "intelligent falling theory".

doesn't really matter. what's going to change with them teaching it? what would they know differently that they didn't already know?

it's very similar to the sex ed thing, just another pointless thing to waste taxpayers' money on. like.. if the Department of Education didn't inform me how to masturbate.. or that women had vaginas.. I would never be able to reproduce!!!

oh just how will i ever get by without the school telling me how things work!!

    please implement it!

education should be based on facts not fantasies

Everyone knows how to reproduce. Sex ed teaches you to reproduce at the moment of your choice. We have no sex ed whatsoever here and as a result we have one of the highest teenage pregnancies and child abbandon rates in Europe

Gravity can be experienced and experimented with. Evolution has never been observed.

So as soon as science observes a bird evolving into a reptile we can start talking about evolution in something other than a religious sense.

Maybe you'd like to teach "intelligent story telling." First you start with some truths (birds and reptiles exist!), then you pile on as many unprovable ideas as you want (God doesn't exist, reptile and bird must be related, reptile evolved from bird, ect) and pretend the whole mess is true. And when someone calls you on your BS you have to be prepared with false analogies and strawmen arguments.

It's amazing how much fudging goes on just to make the big bang even plausible.

People reject Evolution because it's a fairy tale based on science. And that makes it no less a fairy tale. It's no more provable or scientifically testable than the existence of God. Do you believe in Tom Clancy, too?

They're called parents. Once upon a time they were charged with the responsibility of raising children with morals and sense.

Now we pretend that children are uncontrollable and parents just sit on their hands and pretend they're good parents.

All parents are needed for is copulation.

Once children are born, they become property of the state. The state teaches them, if they dont work, it will feed them, if they are neglected, it will find them new parents, if they are bad it will punish them, if they are good, it will reward them.

Between the government, welfare and TV, who needs parents?

False, wrong, untrue, incorrect. Evolution has been and is observed countless times by thousands of researchers all over the world. evolution is a well established discipline of biology and evidences (observation and experimental) are being published at rates of thousands of scientific papers each year. I understand you may not be aware of the details (as I'm not about the details of many scientific disciplines) but I'm afraid you are not interested in knowing it anyways.

Evidence for evolution is even stronger that that for the big bang, but christians are happy with the big bang so nobody questions that.

Again, wrong. evolution has been tested countless times and never refuted.

It's called living in a society. you make out that things like child welfare and education are bad things. it's what humanity has been working towards for 150,000 years, it's called having compassion and valuing education. it's called working together for the greater good.

Now, if you don't like it there are alternatives. I'm fairly sure a few of the third world countries would accept your application for citizenship. So what i would do, If i was you, Is buy my self a tent or learn how to make a home out of donkey shit, Go to a third world country and live out your dream where there aren't taxes to pay, There isn't running water, there isn't sanitation and there isn't pavements to walk on. Live out your dream where if you have an infected wisdom tooth you don't have it pulled out, You die in the mud like an animal. Live out the dream where abused children are left to suffer with their parents while everybody idly stands by and does nothing. Live out the dream where the majority of the population can't even write their own fucking name.

You need to rethink your view of government and taxes. when executed properly government and taxes is what has given you your adequate education and has meant you didn't die at 24 like people did 2000 years ago. Government and taxation is what makes your life infinitely more comfortable than that of someone living in a third world country having to decide if their child is to die of thirst or dysentery from stagnant water.

You are wasting your time trying to explain simple concepts to this person. he has been proven to be wrong on so many occasions and now it's simply his lack of integrity that allows him to carry on making the same untrue claims.

I'd like to see the video of the bird evolving into a reptile.

If that video doesn't exist, evolution is a religion. Not science.

"Science" has officially jumped the shark by claiming that adaptation proves "evolution." That's as idiotic as claiming green grass proves evolution. Nobody denies that things change. But "science" has never proved that reptiles evolved into birds. It's a religion. Nothing that has been observed by real science contradicts the Bible.

God spoke and BANG it was. Oh you mean the "science based religion" version. It doesn't matter if you think people don't question it (which they do), the "science" is so fudged it's rediculous. Science has "ideas" of how it happened if they just fudge laws of physics here and there but they have no proof that that's the way it really happened.

Or is there a video I don't know about?

The uniform temperature of the universe proves God more than it proves the Big Bang.

See what i mean about him lacking integrity.

So only things that are video taped are science? Is that really the line of argument that you wishing to pursue? Because it's not video taped it can't be true?

A 5th grade understanding of science is only acceptable when you are in the 5th grade. Go read a book and spend less time humiliating yourself in public.

It has to be observable and testable. Nobody observed birds evolving into reptiles and there is no concrete evidence that it happened. So unless you have documentation and experients turning reptiles into birds that I don't know about, it's faith that it happened, a religion. And even then it only shows that it is possible. Not that it happened.

And the experiment must be repeatable. Adaptation does not prove Evolution. It's assumed. You can prove adaptation all day long and that doesn't contradict the Bible. In fact it supports the Bible.

If I know you were at the bank at 1pm and the grocery store at 2pm that doesn't prove you were at the mall at 12pm.

But that's exactly the logic Evolutionists use to "prove" their little religion.

"We know the bird had a sharp beak 10 years ago and now some of the birds have knobby beaks so that proves that bird was a t-rex 100 million years ago."

At least Creationists are aware of what is faith and what is fact. That's what's sad about Evolutionists. They can't even tell when a "scientist" is just telling a story to try to explain their world the same way the Greeks did with their myths.

It would be pretty humiliating realizing that you're peddling the idea that God doesn't exist because you can't see Him and yet fully embrace everything that "science" claims while you can't actually observe it. You don't have to see a bird evolve into a reptile to believe it happened but you have to see God to believe he exists. My beliefs are religion because I believe in the unseen while your belief in the unseen is not a religion.

    That makes sense.

oh boy, here comes the cocky liberal BS. You do realize that because of "your style of government", America WILL BE that third-world country you're talking about?

Do you know what is similar about America and 3rd world countries? Both of them are about to have no middle class!! hah! how about that!

Those taxes will surely pay off!

And just to add to that, those who are living in a tribe right now, that are not controlled by a dominant government and of course not being taxed the fuck out of, are going to be MOST DEFINITELY better off in a matter of time.

Those who try to distance themselves from nature and create their "own" world, will have hell to pay, and very soon mind you. There is no such thing as poverty in nature, just corrupt governments. Do you know what the characteristics of a corrupt government are??

    Hmmmmmm???

I'll let you do the math, and being that you are so "scientifically advanced", it shouldn't be a problem for you..

    or should it?

it's funny but the scientific process you quoted doesn't say it has to be observable. which is quite demonstrative of your poor ability to take in information and understand it considering that in the same post you said it has to be "observable".

There certainly has to be an experiment. The experiment done was on the genome looking at what are known as "markers". these markers occur when a nucleotide bond breaks and is repaired. When this happens we can use the "markers" to determine two things. We can determine that species are related by finding corresponding markers in the genome and we can determine when they shared the last common ancestor by cross-referencing the data obtained by looking for markers with fossils found in sedimentary layers where the date of the layer has been determined through a wide variety dating methods.

Here is a nice collection of videos you may find interesting called science made easy. They are made by a clever man especially for people like you, Wasn't that nice of him?

EDIT: So when are you moving to a government free tax free hell hole ncz_nate? Never? That's what i thought. Rage against the machine was so 1990s

I did an experiment on unicorns yesterday. I followed the scientific method. I proved that unicorns are pink because when I put one chemical in water that reacts to unicorns it turned purple.

Do any of them show a bird evolving into a reptile?

If not, then evolution is a religion based on assumptions.

I've never said anything about government free. However, I do talk a lot about low-government, personal responsibility and individual liberty.. if that's what you're talking about?

As far as tribes, those who are among them are much smarter than you and I, they are people who cherish the point of life - which is ultimately human relationships. But because of powerful and corrupt people, AND uneducated people - that way of living is impossible for the world to live by, therefore I'll settle for the U.S. Constitution.

ok, good. So publish your work and detail any experiments you carried out, others can replicate the experiments and maybe we can prove the existence of unicorns. That's how it works.

They don't have to. they only have to use what we know about genetics to prove it. We know that markers exist and we know how they are formed. Now all we need is the genome from two species and we can use what we already know to prove something we suspected.

And the great thing about it is these experiments can falsify evolution if what we expect to find isn't there. If scientists said "birds evolved from reptiles" and when the genome was mapped it showed no corresponding markers it would have proven that hypothesis to be false. Strange though how every single experiment developed that can falsify evolution always ends up supporting it fully.

It's the other way around. Birds evolved from reptiles. Obviously you don't care to know even the slightest detail. "knowing", observing and thinking are fundamentalist's worst enemies.

In any case, birds already evolved more than a hundred million years ago, so you wouldn't see the video. Also, the process took a bit more than a DVD storing capacity so that's another problem. Fortunately we have piles of direct evidence to show us what happened.

You ask for a video about birds evolving, but not for a video version of the genesis.

not true. adaptation is just one part of the huge evidence. Actual, concrete evidence for an evolutionary process over a burst of magic.

Evolution is supported way more strongly that other things you wouldn't doubt about. Why? Probably because the bible doesn't mention them. You are mistaken the meaning of 'religion' and I guess you know it, and that's being dishonest.

science is not interested in 'contradicting' the Bible or the Popol Vuh. just learning about nature. does the bible say that birds didn't evolve from reptiles? why are you so worried then?

using your criteria, you should have asked for the accompanying tape recording when you bought your bible

just another empty statement. or you are well versed on physics or you are being dishonest
